No home remedy can treat tetanus - it is a medical emergency requiring hospital care; home care only means proper wound cleaning and vaccination before illness strikes.
There are no home remedies for tetanus. This is not an area where traditional tips apply. The disease is caused by a powerful nerve toxin; by the time symptoms appear, only hospital treatment - antitoxin, antibiotics, spasm control and often intensive care - can save the patient. Turmeric pastes, herbal decoctions, oils, homeopathic pills and prayer are not treatment, and delaying the hospital to try them can cost a life. If someone develops jaw stiffness or spasms after a wound, call 112 or reach an emergency department immediately.
What you CAN and SHOULD do at home - before illness ever starts:
Remember: the only "home remedy" that works against tetanus is prevention - clean wounds and up-to-date vaccination. Symptoms mean hospital, immediately.
Ayurvedic wound-care traditions (cleaning, medicated oils) are reasonable hygiene for minor wounds but do not prevent or treat tetanus. Vaccination and prompt medical care do.

There is no effective Ayurvedic cure for tetanus; it is a life-threatening emergency needing immediate hospital care, and traditional measures can only support later recovery.
Tetanus is almost completely preventable with vaccination, proper wound cleaning, and clean delivery and cord care for newborns.
Tetanus causes painful muscle stiffness and spasms, usually starting with lockjaw and trouble swallowing, and it is always a medical emergency.
In acute tetanus, diet is managed by the hospital - often by feeding tube; during recovery, a soft, protein-rich, easy-to-swallow diet rebuilds strength.
Tetanus treatment uses hospital-only medicines - tetanus immunoglobulin, antibiotics, and spasm-controlling drugs - with vaccination as the key preventive product.
Tetanus complications include breathing failure, pneumonia, fractures from spasms, and heart rhythm problems; without treatment it is often fatal.
