Ayurvedic view of hridroga as an adjunct only, with herb interaction cautions.
Heart failure is a serious condition that needs a cardiologist. Ayurveda cannot replace modern treatment, and it must never delay emergency care. Call 112 or 102 for severe breathlessness, chest pain or fainting.
Ayurveda describes related conditions under hridroga and links them to imbalance of the doshas, weak digestion and tissue changes. This is a traditional interpretive framework. Evidence for Ayurvedic medicines in heart failure is limited.
Where Ayurveda may play a supporting role

Safety points
Key point
Ayurveda may support wellbeing as an adjunct after medical care, but is not a substitute for it.
Before your appointment
Bring your list of medicines and supplements, recent test reports such as echocardiogram, ECG and kidney tests, and your daily weight and blood pressure log. Note any breathlessness, swelling, night-time symptoms or reduced activity, and how much salt and fluid you take. Ask about warning signs and when to call 112 or 102.
